I was born and raised in a Christian home in Southern California. Through many circumstances, I learned what it truly meant to walk faithfully with the Lord while attending Biola University. While there, I graduated with a BA in Business Management in 1988. At that time, I began to fall in love with the teaching of God’s Word. Better still, I fell in love with my wife, Mary, of almost 30 years. She has been one of my biggest encouragers. We have four children – 3 who are older and live outside of the home, and one daughter in high school. Through teaching Bible studies and working with the youth, I saw the need to be formally trained. So, in 1998 I applied and was accepted to The Master’s Seminary. I chose The Master’s Seminary because of their integrity to the inerrant Word of God, and their dedication to the expositional preaching of God’s Word. After graduation in 2002, we moved to the Southlake area where I served as an associate pastor for 12 years. In 2014, my wife and I decided to join several other families to start Grace Church Denton. It has been our pleasure to serve alongside the other families and look forward to many more years Lord willing.
